AMETEK MRO Southern Aeroparts Receives FAA-PMA Approval for V2500 Thrust Reverser Hand Winding Assembly - Lock Washer SCH1544-0132

TULSA, OK (NOVEMBER 5, 2024) – AMETEK MRO Southern Aeroparts has received FAA-PMA approval for its locking washer, part number (PN) SCH1544-0132.

“The SCH1544-0132 locking washer was designed to be a direct replacement alternative for OEM locking washer part number CH1544-0132,” said Gene Forrester, Divisional Vice President and Business Manager of AMETEK MRO Midwest. “This alternative solution will considerably help customers that experience the high prices and long lead times from the OEM.”

The SCH1544-0132 locking washer component is installed into the NHA TY1544-20 Hand Winding Assembly found on the V2500 engines. During maintenance of the NHA TY1544-20, the locking washer is replaced per CMM repair specifications.
